In our Larder you'll find the various products that make it into our Foodies Hampers. The News section is packed with articles and tips all focused around our favourite subject: food! And the goal of our Recipe section is to provide you with tasty recipe ideas for how to get the most out of the items you receive in your Foodies Hamper. So lots for you to enjoy!

Membership

1. What is The Foodies Hamper?

The Foodies Hamper is the easiest way to discover unique and delicious natural food and ingredients from around Spain, delivered directly to your door! Every month, Foodies Hamper subscribers will receive a curated box of unique, hard-to-find tasty bites.

2. Why would I want to order a Foodies Hamper?

The Foodies Hamper is a great way to keep your larder stocked with authentic Spanish goodies. All of our items are sourced from artisan producers from around Spain whose products, given their limited productions, almost certainly wouldn't make it onto the shelves of your local supermarket. So let us do the hard work for you and hunt-down these really hard-to-find scrumptious products and deliver them direct to your door! A Foodies Hamper can also make an ideal gift for a special person in your life. Everyone loves surprises and everyone loves food, so why not say your special message to someone with this innovative gift.

3. How does the subscription work?

Subscription works on a monthly cycle. So signing up at any point during a month means you will be subscribed for the following month's hamper. For example it wouldn't matter whether you subscribed on November 2nd or November 30th, you would still qualify to receive December's hamper. Signing up on December 1st however would mean you would be in a new subscription window and so your first hamper would be in January.

4. How do I subscribe for a Foodies Hamper?

It's easy-and only takes a few minutes! Just click here to select your plan and checkout. We have three plans available so that you can pick the one that suits you. Our monthly plan offers you the flexibility to sign-up and cancel at any time or alternatively you can choose from one of our pre-pay plans for either 3 or 6 months.

5. I just signed up for a Foodies Hamper subscription! What will I receive?

Every month, you'll receive a curated hamper containing 5 or 6 unique gourmet goodies. The food selections for each month's hamper will vary based on seasonal themes.

6. Can I choose what's in my Foodies Hamper?

That would spoil the surprise! Having a Foodies Hamper subscription is all about discovering new products, so that each month you get a selection of different products to enjoy. It's a bit like having a birthday every month!

7. How do you decide what goes in each Foodies Hamper?

We work hard to hunt down producers that develop high quality products using traditional and sustainable techniques. Our goal is to find products that not only have great nutritional value but that we also know you'll love!

8. I love one of products in the Foodies Hamper! Where can I get more of it?

If you would like more of any of the products you've tried in your Foodies Hampers then just get in touch with us. As a subscriber, you can order more of any of the items from your previous months hampers and they will be added to your next hamper delivery. Even if you are not a current subscriber but have tried something in the past or simply like the look of something in our larder, then do still let us know and we'll work out the best way to get it to you.

9. What if I don't like some of the food I receive?

We hope you do! But if you don't, please let us know as your feedback is important to us. In the meantime, please pass it on to one of your friends who you think will enjoy it.

10. I have allergies to certain products and ingredients. What do I do?

Unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee that your box won't contain any specific products or ingredients. We understand if that makes it hard for you to begin or continue our service, but we hope you'll stick with it and encourage you to give the occasional troublesome products away to a friend!

11. I don't know what to do with one of the products that I've received in my Foodies Hamper. Can you help?

Of course. That's what our Recipes section is for and it's here where we will share tasty recipes using the various foods and ingredients that you'll find in your Foodies Hamper.

Payment

1. When will I be billed?

For the Monthly Recurring plan you will be billed on the 1st of every month. With the 3 month or 6 month pre-pay plans you will be billed for the whole amount at the time of subscription.

2. If I have a pre-pay subscription, what happens at the end of my plan?

At the end of the your pre-pay plan we will contact you via email to let you know that your subscription is coming to an end and to see whether you would like to renew it.

3. What method of payments do you accept?

Currently we only accept payment via Direct Debit facilitated by our payment partner GoCardless. GoCardless accesses the Direct Debit network through its sponsor, the Royal Bank of Scotland and is registered as a small Payments Institution with the UK Financial Services Authority. Although this might seem like a different way to pay for services online, it actually offers you a lot of freedom and protection as you are covered by the Direct Debit Guarantee that is offered by all UK bank and building societies that accept Direct Debit instructions.

4. Will my payment details be secure?

All payment information is held by GoCardless whose strict security regime has a number of components that will be very important to your (and our) peace of mind. We do not store any of your payment details on our systems.

5. How do I change my billing details?

We currently bill through GoCardless so you'll need to login in and change your billing information with them.

6. What is your cancellation policy?

Monthly subscribers can cancel their subscription at anytime through their My Larder page. The monthly subscription fee is charged on the 1st of every month. If you would like to cancel your subscription, please do so before the last day of the month, otherwise you will continue to be billed for the next month. Unfortunately you can't cancel prepaid or gift subscriptions but you can transfer to another recipient. To do so please email us and we will be happy to help you do this

Gift Subscriptions

1. I'd like to send a Foodies Hamper as a gift, is that possible?

Yes of course you can! You can gift either just one hamper or a 3 or 6 month subscription. Just go to our Gift subscription page, choose the plan you want to gift and then tell us where to send the Foodies Hamper.

2. Can I send a gift message inside the first gift box?

A gift message can be included in the first box that is sent. When completing the gift subscription details there will be an option to include a personal message.

3. If I have a gift subscription, what happens when I reach my last month?

Your gift subscription automatically ends after you receive your last box. But don't be sad! You can re-subscribe and become a regular recurring subscriber here.

Shipping

1. Where does The Foodies Larder ship to?

Currently we only ship to the United Kingdom.

2. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are included in the monthly fee for any address in mainland UK. Unfortunately for non-mainland addresses we have to apply a surcharge of £6.00 per month. This includes places such as Northern Ireland, the Scilly Isles, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man and the Scottish Islands.

3. When will my Foodies Hamper arrive?

Foodies Hampers are shipped monthly from our facility in Spain around the 10th of each month. You can expect your hamper to arrive approximately 7 business days after it's shipped.

4. My address is hard to find - can I give special instructions?

Yes. On the 'Checkout' page there is space for you to fill in any personal requests that we can then pass on to the courier.

5. What will happen if there is nobody available to accept delivery?

As with the majority of courier companies, ours will leave a card with instructions for contacting them to arrange for redelivery.

6. Is it necessary for somebody to be present to accept the delivery?

Unless otherwise instructed our courier will require a signature on delivery and therefore somebody will need to be in to receive it. You are free to ask us to instruct the courier to leave your hamper in a location that you believe to be secure, but in this case you assume the risk involved and we will not be able to entertain claims for non-delivery.

7. What about broken or damaged items?

As you can imagine, we take every care possible to ensure that your order arrives safely and in one piece. We use what we believe to be the best packing techniques and the most appropriate materials for the job, including strong boxes and cushioning materials. On the off chance there is any damage, please do inform us within 24 hours of receipt. We normally just ask for a quick photo and then we'll do what we can to remedy the situation.

8. What if I want to change my shipping address?

You can make changes to your shipping address in your My Larder page. Please change your address by the 1st of the month to ensure that your Foodies Hamper is delivered correctly.
